The Aragonese fortress of Le Castella on its islet off the Ionian coast

Crotone Tours & Tickets

A Greek cape, a Byzantine hill town, a fortress in the sea, a glass of Cirò — every bookable experience, compared.

Let us be honest from the start: Crotone is not Rome, and the choice of online-bookable tours is small. GetYourGuide lists only a handful of experiences in the city and its province. We have picked the good ones and added real, verified options from the Sila mountains and the rest of Calabria for travellers on a wider trip.

Everything here is booked through GetYourGuide, which means live availability, free cancellation on most options and reserve-now-pay-later on many. Prices are indicative “from” starting points in euros and change with the season — tap any card for the live price in your own currency. Boat trips inside the Capo Rizzuto reserve are mostly sold on the quay at Le Castella rather than online; we explain how on the marine reserve page.

Booking questions

Frequently asked questions

Why are there so few tours in Crotone itself?

Because the province is still off the main tourist circuit. Local guides and boatmen mostly work by phone or on the spot. The handful of products on GetYourGuide are real and bookable; for everything else we tell you how to arrange it locally.

Can I book a boat trip at Le Castella online?

Rarely. Glass-bottom boats and snorkelling trips in the marine reserve are normally sold at the harbour in season. The nearest online-bookable boat tour is on the Gulf of Squillace, about an hour’s drive away.

What is included in the price?

It depends on the tour: the private day tours include the transfer, tastings include the wines and snacks listed, and quad tours include the vehicle. Entrance fees and meals are often extra — each listing spells it out.

Can I cancel?

Most listings offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start. The exact terms are shown on each tour page before you confirm.

In which languages are the tours run?

Mostly Italian and English; some guides also offer other languages. The languages available are shown on each listing — check before you book.
